Katelyn Tuohy named ACC Cross Country Performer of the Week

NC State junior Katelyn Tuohy was named Atlantic Coast Conference Cross Country Performer of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office.
It's the second award is as many days for Tuohy as she was selected as the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country National Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Tuohy is fresh off a record-breaking weekend at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational. In the 5K main race, Tuohy shattered the Burke Golf Course record, finishing with a time of 15:50.0, to help lead the Wolfpack's top-ranked women's cross country team to another tournament title.
Tuohy (Stony Point, NY) is the defending NCAA 5000m outdoor champion.
