NC State wins 8 of the 10 matches, both ranked matchups
PRINCETON, N.J. – The #5 NC State Wrestling team picked up a ranked, road win Sunday afternoon, as the Wolfpack (6-1) scored a 32-9 victory at #19 Princeton.

The Pack won eight of the 10 matches, with five going for bonus points, and came away victorious in both ranked individual matchups.

The dual started at heavyweight, with Jr. Tyrie Houghton getting the start for the Pack. Houghton got the winning takedown with 55 seconds left, and added in 2:10 of ride time, for a 6-3 decision.

Princeton did not weigh-in #1 Patrick Glory at 125 pounds, and #10 Jakob Camacho was awarded the forfeit win and six team points.

The Pack then went back-to-back bonus points. R-So. Jarrett Trombley posted six points in the first period, along with 2:06 of ride time, to score an 11-3 major decision. #15 Ryan Jack followed with an 8-point first period, along with 2:44 of ride time, for a 14-3 major decision at 141 pounds.

The highlighted bout was at 157 pounds, a top-11 battle. #11 Ed Scott used takedowns in the second and third periods to down #5 Monday, 6-4. It was Scott's third straight ranked win, and second straight top-10 victory.

Princeton got their lone victory, as Fr. AJ Kovacs bumped up a weight class to 165 pounds but fell after the ride time point was added in, 5-4.

#5 Hayden Hidlay answered with bonus points, as he got five takedowns and a four-point near fall, along with 2:53 of ride time, for a 17-2 tech fall.

More bonus at 184 pounds, and another ranked win, as #3 Trent Hidlay scored a 17-4 major decision over #22 Stefanik.

Princeton ended the dual with a first-period pin at 197 pounds.
