Men’s Tennis Announces 2022 Dual Match Schedule

RALEIGH - The NC State men's tennis program has released its 2022 schedule, as announced by head coach Kyle Spencer on Monday.
The schedule features seven teams that were ranked in top 25 of the final 2021 ITA Rankings in addition to 15 squads that tabbed a spot in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
Fans can attend home matches for free. For indoor matches, masks are required.
The Wolfpack opens the season Monday, Jan. 17 with a doubleheader against Northwestern (11 a.m.) and Presbyterian (4 p.m.) followed by a second doubleheader Thursday, Jan. 20 against Princeton (12 p.m.) and Campbell (5 p.m.).
NC State travels to Oxford, Miss., Jan 28-29 to compete in the ITA Kickoff Weekend. The Wolfpack's first matchup will see the squad take on Illinois (Jan. 28) while the team will take on either Oklahoma or host school Ole Miss Jan. 29.
Seven home matches are slated to take place in February, beginning with Georgia Friday, Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m. and UCF Sunday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. The three-match home stint concludes with a 12 p.m. matchup against NC Central Saturday, Feb. 12.
The ITA National Indoor Championship is set to take place Feb. 18-21 in Seattle, Wash.
NC State rounds out February with a pair of doubleheaders. The team will take on Radford (2 p.m.) and NC A&T (6 p.m.) Thursday, Feb. 24 before competing against Boston College (12 p.m.) and Elon (4 p.m.) Sunday, Feb. 27.
March opens with a 3 p.m. home match against South Carolina Tuesday, March 1.
The Wolfpack begins a seven-match road stretch at Florida State Friday, March 4 before playing at Miami Sunday, March 6. NC State will make the short trip to Winston-Salem, N.C., Thursday, March 10 to take on Wake Forest.
Away action continues Friday, March 25 at Virginia and Sunday, March 27 at Virginia Tech. The road matches wrap up with a Friday, April 1 matchup at Louisville and a Sunday, April 3 competition at Notre Dame.
The final four regular-season matches are set to be played in Raleigh, beginning with Georgia Tech Friday, April 8 (6 p.m.) and Clemson Sunday, April 10 at 12 p.m. Duke visits the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center Friday, April 15 at 6 p.m. before the Wolfpack welcomes North Carolina to Raleigh for a 12 p.m. match Sunday, April 17.
The ACC Championships will take place in Rome, Ga., April 20-24. Postseason continues with the NCAA First and Second Rounds May 6-8, followed by the Super Regionals May 13-15 and the NCAA Championship and Individual Championships May 19-28.
