Four From Women’s Soccer Named to All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Maria Echezarreta, Lulu Guttenberger, Emika Kawagishi and Annika Wohner were named to the 2021 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
This is the sixth consecutive season that the program has had four or more players named to the All-ACC Academic Team.
For Guttenberger, who was a CoSIDA Academic All-District Team honoree in the fall, this is her fourth time earning the distinction while for Echezarreta, it is her second in as many years. Meanwhile it is Kawagishi and Wohner's first academic award in their careers.

Annika Wohner, M, Life Sciences – First Year
In order to be named to the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during his or her academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team members.
