Wolfpack to Begin Season with Home Doubleheader

RALEIGH - The NC State men's tennis program is slated to begin its season Monday, Jan. 17 with a pair of matches against Presbyterian at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Fans are permitted to attend all home matches in the 2022 season and are required to wear masks for indoor competitions per NC State's University Community Standards.
PACK IN THE RANKINGS
Junior Robin Catry currently sits at No. 36 in the ITA singles rankings, a career-high placement for the Lille, France, native.
SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE
Presbyterian opened its season on Saturday, posting a 5-2 win over Kennesaw State. The squad charted a pair of doubles wins to take the point and went on to get four singles wins.
2021 SEASON REWIND
The Wolfpack opened its 2021 season at the ITA Kickoff, defeating Alabama in its first-round matchup.
After a five-match nonconference slate, NC State posted a 7-3 conference record and finished fourth in the ACC standings to earn a double bye in the ACC Tournament. At the conference tournament, the Pack defeat Florida State to move on to the semifinal round.
In the NCAA Singles Championships, graduated senior Alexis Galarneau advanced to the round of 16 with wins over then-No. 15 Trent Bryde (Georgia) and then-No. 42 Adria Soriano Barrera (Miami).
UP NEXT
The Wolfpack hosts a doubleheader Thursday, Jan. 20 with matches against Princeton (12 p.m.) and Campbell (5 p.m.).
