RALEIGH, N.C. -Â NC State's football team will honor the university's most iconic landmark with a special #LightItRed Adidas uniform for the 2021 season opener. The new gear, which will be worn exclusively for the Sept. 2 game vs. USF, celebrates the history of the Memorial Belltower and the Wolfpack tradition of LIGHTING IT RED following big victories.
The #LightItRed jerseys will mimic the Belltower's architecture with a 3D stone font on the numbers and an emblem of the Belltower at the neck.
The pants will feature the slobbering wolf logo that coordinates with the helmets released earlier this summer, and the entire uniform boasts a pinstripe effect that matches the sweater worn by Tuffy in vintage logos.
A replica of the jersey will be available for purchase at the GoPack store.
