Pack Football to Hold Open Practice at Carter-Finley Stadium

RALEIGH, N.C. - Every year prior to the season opener, the NC State football team holds a 'dress rehearsal' for game day – going through warmups, practicing timing for the team entrance and reviewing situations that may come up during games. This season, Wolfpack Nation is invited to participate in that "mock game" on Saturday, Aug. 28, just five days before the 2021 campaign kicks off vs. USF.
Gates for the event will open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. Although there will not be live scrimmage work, the players will be in helmets and pro pads and run through plays.
The cheerleaders will add to the game-like atmosphere, while Tuffy III will make his first public appearance in Carter-Finley at the event. Food Trucks will be on site, as well as a Fan Zone with inflatables, face painters, balloon artists and an opportunity to take a photo with the Helmet Cart.
Fans are encouraged to enter through Stadium Gate C off Trinity Road and enjoy free parking in the Stadium West Lot. Gates 2, 3 and 4 on the west side will be open for stadium entry and fans may sit in the west side stands (sections 17-24).
