Knight Named To Paul Hornung Watch List

RALEIGH, N.C. -Â Wolfpack third-year running back Zonovan Knight has been named to the preseason watch list for the Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse. The Hornung Award recognizes versatile, high-level performer and is presented by the Louisville Sports Commission.

Knight has also been named a preseason candidate for the 2021 Doak Walker Award and the Maxwell Award.

He has been NC State's leading rusher each of his two seasons and currently posts the top yards per carry average in Wolfpack career history with 5.49 yards per attempt. His 26.6 yard career average on kick returns ranks second in the Wolfpack record books and he ranks third among 2021 ACC players in career all-purpose yards (2,043) and rushing yards (1,533).
