Dunn Named to Lou Groza Watch List

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State's fourth-year kicker Christopher Dunn has been named to the preseason watch list for the 2021 Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award.

Dunn is the NC State career record holder in field goals with 56, a mark that ranks second among ACC players returning in 2021. He ranks third in school history with 290 career points scored - third-best among current league players, while his .836 field goal percentage is the fourth-best ever by a Wolfpack kickoff.

The Lexington, N.C., native Has connected on all 122 of his PAT attempts - that total ranks second in school history and leads all returning league players in career field goals.

Twenty semifinalists will be announced on Nov. 4 and then a panel of more than 100 FBS head coaches, SIDs, media members, former Groza finalists and current NFL kickers will select three finalists for the award. The finalists will be announced on No. 23rd and then the national winner will be honored on Dec. 9 during the Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.
