Vicario Earns Spot on All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Senior Monika Vicario has been named to the All-ACC Academic Team for the second time in her career, as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
Vicario posted an impressive 2021 season, earning an individual berth in the NCAA Regional Championship and posting the best finish of her career at the ACC Championship (tied for 8th). She additionally led the squad with a stroke average of 74.61.
In order to be named to the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during his or her academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team members.
