Forbes Named to 2021 ACC Softball Championship All-Tournament Team

LOUISVILLE, KY. – After an outstanding performance at the 2021 ACC Softball Championships, graduate outfield Tatyana Forbes was named to the ACC Softball Championship All-Tournament Team Saturday afternoon.
Forbes tied for the lead across all hitters in the tournament with three hits across her two games, while also batting a .429 across the week. She went 2-for-4 in the Wolfpack's first round win against North Carolina before also contributing a hit against second-seeded Florida State.
Forbes' selection marks the second-straight tournament NC State has been represented on the All-Tournament team, following Sam Russ' selection in 2019. The Wolfpack have had 16 selections all-time dating back to the 2006 season.
