Pack Football on Display in 2021 Spring Game

Raleigh, N.C. - In this year's 2021 Spring Football game presented by Carolina Ford Dealers, all eyes were on the return of QB Devin Leary.
Leary started off strong in the first quarter, he led his side to three touchdowns in the first four possessions. Leary opened the scoring, connecting with Porter Rooks on a 58-yard touchdown pass. Leary sat out the second half, and finished the game 12-of-23 for 175 yards and two TD passes.
Thayer Thomas shined today throwing and catching TD passes. He connected with Devin Carter on a 28-yard touchdown reception first, then caught a 9-yard TD reception from Leary.
QB Ben Finley was also impressive with a 35-yard pass to Christopher Scott to set up the first TD for his squad. This led to a 5-yard rushing TD from Finley on the very next play. Finley ended the game going 10-of-20 for 154 yards.
Jordan Houston had a big game being the leading rusher of the day with 89 yards and one TD on 10 carries. His longest carry was for 34 yards. Houston went out injured in the second quarter, after he got rolled up on.
Delbert Mimms added to the ground game with 9 carries for 52 yards.
Rookie linebacker Caden Fordham had one of two INTs on the day, and he finished his first spring game with a 13-yard interception return for a TD in the fourth quarter.
