RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team announced the addition of middle blocker, Jada Allen, to the Wolfpack's recruiting class for 2021. Allen is set to join NC State this fall, and will join NC State's five other signees, previously announced earlier this year.
"We are happy to announce that Jada Allen is joining our Pack family this fall," said head coach Luka Slabe. "She is coming to Raleigh from one of the premier clubs in the country. She is going to fill a need in the middle blocker position, but has the ability to play as a pin attacker as well. She will help this team shape the culture of hard-working, volleyball eager, student-athletes."

NC State's well rounded 2021 class includes a player at every position, bolstered by the addition of Allen in the middle. Allen is a 6-1 middle blocker from Fishers, Indiana who is a three-year varsity starter for Fishers High School. She earned All-County honors her junior and senior year and holds her high school record for most blocks and is second all-time in hitting percentage.
Allen earned most improved player of the year her first year on Fishers varsity volleyball team and has since earned team Offensive Player of the Year the last two seasons. She also plays for Munciana Volleyball Club and placed third at AAU Nationals in 2019, earning All-American honors.
Allen's older sisters were both collegiate athletes, with Mackenzie being on the rowing team at Creighton and Aliyah cheering at Lindenwood-Belleville.
