
#10 Pack Secures Second-Straight ACC Win in 6-1 Fashion at Notre Dame

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The 10th-ranked NC State women's tennis team (9-3, 4-2 ACC) rounded out its weekend of road conference action with another victory, this time a 6-1 decision over Notre Dame (9-7, 3-5 ACC) on Saturday afternoon.
Notre Dame took the opening point with a pair of doubles wins, but the Pack quickly claimed control of the match in singles action as it went up a set on five of six courts. NC State rallied off straight-set victories on its top four singles courts to clinch the match. and added wins on courts five and six to close out the team's perfect day of singles action.
After a competitive start to its ACC slate, this weekend's wins over Louisville and Notre Dame marked the Pack's first time winning back-to-back conference matches this season.
The Wolfpack returns home next weekend for ACC matches against Boston College (Friday, March 19) and Syracuse (Sunday, March 21).
