STRAIGHT FROM THE PACK: HEAD COACH KYLE SPENCER
"Great win today for the guys," said head coach Kyle Spencer, "They fought really hard. Credit to them for making the adjustments for the first match outside. We came in and played a good doubles point.
"In singles we had some guys just really be there to battle and be excited to compete, and those things are really important.
"I'd be remiss to not bring up that we're a family here at NC State. We had an associate athletic director and gameday operations drying the courts. It was a total team effort today in terms of getting the match going. Big credit to all the people that allow these matches to be played, especially today when we had little bit of rain on the courts with no sun or wind to help them dry. Big shoutout to everybody behind the scenes who made this match possible.
"No rest for us. We have one day to get ready before No. 2 Baylor comes here on Tuesday. Another huge test for our guys, and we're super excited to have the second-ranked team coming in here to Raleigh. Looking forward to that one, and as always - go Pack!"
