Rifle Posts Solid 4666 at NCAA Qualifier

ANNAPOLIS, MD. – The NC State Rifle team had a solid showing Saturday at the NCAA Qualifier, posting a 4666. The Pack's 4666 was the ninth best score across the country in an NCAA Qualifier. The team's aggregate score tied for the ninth-best in program history, while the 2319 small bore total is tied for the fifth-highest all-time for NC State.
Freshman Roman Karadsheh had a career day, setting personal-bests in small bore, air rifle and aggregate.
Small Bore Notes
• The Pack had four athletes record personal-bests in small bore.
• Lauren Crossley set a career-high in small bore with a 576.
• It was the second-straight small bore performance for Ben Salas with a 576, tying his personal best. Salas registered a perfect 100 on his second prone series.
• Just a week after shooting a top-10 school 587 in small bore, Makenzie Sheffield followed it up with an outstanding 585 Saturday.
• The final career-day came from Katie Torrence who had a 576

• Karadsheh had the team's best air rifle result, registering a 591 with one perfect 100 series and two near perfect 99s.
