Softball Cancels Longwood Series Due to Weather

The NC State softball season opening series against Longwood, originally scheduled for Feb. 13-14, has been canceled due to inclement weather in Raleigh. The Wolfpack will turn its attention to what will now be the teams season opener, home opener and Atlantic Coast Conference opener against Boston College on Wednesday, Feb. 17. The matchup is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be broadcast on ACCNX.

The Boston College game serves as the opener of the ACC Pod Weekend, where NC State will play six games in four days against the Eagles and Louisville. Dail Softball Stadium will also serve as a host site for Virginia and Pitt.

Due to health and safety recommendations and current state guidelines, attendance at NC State softball home competitions is limited to a pass list of player and coach guests only. No tickets are available to the general public at this time. Please continue to visit GoPack.com for the latest updates.
