@PackWrestle Sending Eight to Southern Scuffle

RALEIGH, N.C. – The #5 NC State Wolfpack wrestling team will kick off the new year by traveling to the Southern Scuffle this weekend. Action from Chattanooga, Tenn., will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

FloWrestling will both stream the even and provide live scoring.

The Pack will send all three of the heavyweights: Tyrie Houghton, Owen Trephan and Deonte Wilson in a continued attempt to determine the starter for the season. NC State will also have a duo at 165 pounds, Thomas Bullard and Donald Cates, and AJ Kovacs at 157 pounds.

Freshmen Jake Null (165) and Joey Milano (184) will be competing unattached as they are both redshirting.
