Bennett and Synnott Head to USA Diving Winter Nationals

RALEIGH – Two of NC State's divers are set to close out the 2021 calendar year action at the USA Diving Winter Nationals, held in Bloomington, Ind. from Dec.13-18.
NC State juniors Bayne Bennett and Helene Synnott are both set to compete on the 1-meter springboard. Competition is already underway, with the women's 1-meter and men's 1-meter beginning Thursday and Saturday, respectively.
The pair of divers have already posted NCAA Zone marks in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events earlier in the season.
The meet serves as a selection event to determine which divers the United States will send to the 2022 FINA World Championships, which will be held in Fukuoka, Japan in May.
