Rifle Releases Spring Portion of 2021-22 Schedule

RALEIGH – No. 11 NC State rifle head coach Dr. Kelly Carter has released the spring portion of the 2021-22 schedule on Monday morning.
The Wolfpack will open the spring with a trip to Army to face off against No. 2 Kentucky (Jan. 16) and No. 15 Army (Jan. 17) in West Point, N.Y. The following Sunday, the Pack competes in the Withrow Open held at Murray State on Jan. 23.
After a quick two-week break, NC State returns to action on the road against Akron on Saturday, Feb. 12 before heading to the NCAA Qualifiers on Feb. 19 held at Navy. The Great American Rifle Conference Championship is slated for Feb. 25-26 in West Point.
The NCAA Championships are scheduled for March 10-12.
NC State finished the fall portion of its schedule with a 1-5 record, only facing ranked teams. Despite having a 1-5 record, the Pack has shown steady growth since its win over then-No. 15 Memphis on Oct. 31 as the team has either matched or increased its aggregate score in its final three matches.
