
Ekwonu Earns Another All-American Honor

RALEIGH, N.C. - Wolfpack offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu is going to have more All-America honors than syrup bottles!
Today, Ekwonu was named a first-team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America All-America Team. The 78th annual team was selected by the FWAA's All-America Committee based on nominations from the entire membership.
Ekwonu has also been named a first-team All-American by Walter Camp, CBS Sports and PFF, won the ACC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy and was a finalist for the Outland Trophy. He garnered 67 syrup bottles this season, one for every knockdown block that he tallied in his 829 snaps played.Â
