GUARDIAN WOLVES to be Honored at Syracuse Game

RALEIGH, N.C. - When the COVID-19 crisis forced the cancellation of most public events in 2020, collegiate athletics programs all over the country faced serious financial challenges. At NC State, a special group of supporters made sure the Wolfpack could weather the storm.

These "Guardian Wolves" contributed at a significantly high level in order to keep NC State Athletics financially solvent and to balance the budget during that critical period, collectively pledging more than $7 million.

"We will forever be grateful to the Guardian Wolves for their generosity and support during a time of critical need for NC State Athletics," said Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan. "Because of their support, we were able to navigate an incredibly challenging year and put our focus towards our future and advancing NC State."Â

The athletics department offers its sincere gratitude and appreciation to these Guardian Wolves. They will be honored during on the field during the first quarter of the Wolfpack's football game versus Syracuse on Saturday, Nov. 20.
