@PackWrestle Announces 2021-22 Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. – Aiming for a fourth straight ACC Championship, and an eighth straight top-20 finish at the NCAA Championships, the NC State wrestling team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 season.

The Pack's slate includes five home duals inside Reynolds Coliseum. The Pack will host non-conference foes West Virginia (Nov. 21) and Gardner-Webb (Dec. 3).

In ACC action, the Pack opens with Virginia Tech at home on Jan. 21, followed by a visit from Virginia on Feb. 4. The final dual of the season will be in Reynolds against UNC on Feb. 18.

In road ACC contests, the Pack will be at Duke (Jan. 28) and at Pitt (Feb. 11).

New to the schedule this year will be the Collegiate Duals in Destin, Fla., Dec. 20-21. The event will feature 12 teams, with six of the top seven teams from last season in the field, in addition to Cornell and three other top-25 schools.

Postseason action sees the Pack traveling up to Virginia for the ACC Championship on March 6, and the NCAA Championships will be held in Detroit March 17-19. The last time the ACCs were held at UVA was 2016 and head coach Pat Popolizio won his first ACC Championship that day, while Detroit is serving as host for the NCAAs for the first time.
