#14 NC State Takes Down #15 Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – No. 14 NC State rifle recorded its season-high aggregate score and defeated No. 15 Memphis, 4664-4642 on Sunday.
The Pack (1-2) earned its first win of the season by tallying season bests in smallbore (2300) and air rifle (2364). NC State's aggregate score was just two points shy of the program's ninth-best outing.
Ben Salas had a career day as he finished first overall with an aggregate score of 1173 which combined a 581 smallbore and a 592 air rifle, all of which were career highs. Following behind Salas was Katie Tedeschi who finished second individually with a season-high 576 smallbore and a 589 air rifle for a season-best aggregate score of 1165.
In smallbore, Roman Karadsheh recorded a season-best 578 while Aliya Butt added 565 to the team score. Travis Stockton posted a solid performance in air rifle as he fired a 592, his season best. Rounding out the scoring for the Pack in air rifle was Addy Burrow with a 591, her third consecutive outing firing over 590.
