Rocens, Van Sambeek Tab Doubles Spot in ITA Fall Nationals

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Wolfpack doubles pairing of Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek has earned an at-large spot in the 2021 ITA Fall National Championships, as announced by the ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) on Thursday.
The duo is the first from the NC State men's program to tab a spot at Fall Nationals since Ivan Saveljic and Igor Savljic competed in the tournament in 2018.
Doubles competition is set to begin Thursday, Nov. 4 and run through Sunday, Nov. 7, and the tournament is set to be played at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
