Pack Safety Boykin Named ACC Specialist of the Week

Scored first career TD off a fumbled punt
RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State safety Devan Boykin was named the ACC Specialist of the Week after he helped the Pack to a 33-7 road win at Boston College this past weekend.

He had perhaps the biggest play of the game early in the second half with the Pack up just 10-7. On BC's opening offensive possession, the Eagles punter bobbled the snap and Boykin scooped it up and took it back 34 yards for the score.
On defense, he made a huge play in the end zone, breaking up a pass to deny an Eagle TD. For the game, he recorded a pair of PBUs and tallied three total tackles while playing just 28 snaps.
