RALEIGH – Head Coach Luka Slabe released the Wolfpack's Spring 2021 schedule, Monday afternoon. The 11-game schedule serves as a continuation from the Fall 2020 where the Wolfpack ended the semester with a four-match win streak. Full broadcast and TV information will be available at a later date.
The Wolfpack will get its first taste of action in an exhibition match against North Carolina scheduled for Feb. 13. NC State will then host Duke for a non-conference match on Friday, Feb. 26 to open the 2021 schedule. The match will not count towards ACC records or standings.
The ACC spring schedule format features three teams playing at one host site per weekend.
League play begins March 5 for the Wolfpack when they travel to South Bend, Ind. to take on Notre Dame followed by a March 6 meeting with Miami. NC State then travels to Wake Forest were they will play reigning ACC champions, Pitt, on March 13 followed by Wake Forest on March 14.
The Wolfpack will then host its lone conference weekend March 19-21 when they welcome Boston College and Clemson to town. NC State will take on Clemson Friday, March 19 before facing off against the Eagles on Sunday, March 21.
NC State is then scheduled to take on Georgia Tech and Louisville, March 27 and 28, respectively, in Louisville. The team then heads to Tallahassee to wrap up conference action with a April 2 match against Syracuse and April 3 against Florida State.
The NCAA Volleyball Championship selection show is scheduled for April 4. The spring edition of the NCAA Volleyball Championships will be a 48-team bracket with 32 automatic qualifiers and 16 at-large selections.
