RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team, in conjunction with the Atlantic Coast Conference office, released its schedule for the 2020 fall season on Friday. The slate features six league matches, two exhibitions against ACC opponents and one non-conference contest.
The Wolfpack joins Clemson, Duke, North Carolina and Wake Forest in the South Region. Each squad will face all division opponents once, with two regional home-and-homes.
NC State will match up for its home-and-home series against Duke and Wake Forest and will also play host to Clemson and Navy during the regular season.
Following a pair of exhibition matches against Duke (Sept. 11) and at North Carolina (Sept. 19), the Wolfpack will open George Kiefer's fourth season at the helm of the program with back-to-back road contests at Duke (Sept. 26) and Wake Forest (Oct. 2).
The Pack will then return home to play four of its final five regular-season matches at Dail Soccer Stadium.
The ACC Men's Soccer Tournament will include the top eight teams (four teams from each region), with the quarterfinals (Nov. 15) and semifinals (Nov. 18) hosted at the four North Carolina schools. The ACC Championship Game will be played Sunday, Nov. 22 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
Television selections for the Pack's matches will be announced at a later date.
