COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A total of seven current and former NC State swimmers will represent the Wolfpack on the 2020-21 USA Swimming National Team, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
Current Wolfpack student-athletes Katharine Berkoff and Eric Knowles earned spots on the team for the next season, and NC State alumni Elise Haan, Ryan Held, Hannah Moore, Justin Ress and Makayla Sargent also joined them on the roster. All seven selections were members of the 2019-20 U.S. National Team.
With the COVID-19 pandemic shortening the season, USA Swimming announced its roster by preserving all members of last season's National Team and by honoring any swimmers who hit a time that would have ranked in last year's top six.

Katharine Berkoff – 100 backstroke
Eric Knowles – 400 freestyle

Berkoff, Knowles and Sargent all gained CSCAA All-America status during the 2019-20 collegiate season after being selected to the NCAA Championships in various events.
Haan joined Berkoff as a National Team member in the 100-meter backstroke after placing second in the event (59.62) at the World University Games last summer.
