Thayer Thomas Named to Paul Hornung Award Watch List

Award goes to most versatile player in college football
RALEIGH, N.C. – The Louisville Sports Commission today named 50 multi-talented college football players to the 2020 Watch List for the Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse.
A redshirt-junior, Pack WR Thayer Thomas was named on the preseason list. Last season, he averaged 13.7 yards per punt return, the seventh-best mark in school history. He returned a punt 76 yards for a TD vs. Ball State, and at West Virginia he both caught and threw a TD pass. At WR, he was the team's fourth-leading receiver with 31 catches for 334 yards and three scores.
The award, now in its 11th season, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football by the Louisville Sports Commission and football legend and Louisville native Paul Hornung.
