Pack Specialists Named to Award Watch Lists

PK Dunn and P Gill both listed among nation’s best

RALEIGH, N.C. – A pair of NC State specialists were each named to a national award watch list leading up to the 2020 season.

PK Christopher Dunn was named to the Lou Groza Award Watch List, while P Trenton Gill was named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List.

Dunn has had an impressive first couple of seasons as the Pack's placekicker. He currently ranks fifth in school history in career field goals (44) and fourth in percentage (.880). Going into 2020, he has connected on his last 11 field goal attempts. Last season, he was named a semifinalist for the 2019 Lou Groza Award and was a second-team All-ACC selection after accounting for 91 points with 21 field goals.

Last season in his first year as the Pack's starting punter, Gill set the Wolfpack single-season record for punting average with a 47.6 mark. That average led the ACC and ranked third in the FBS. He was a third-team All-ACC selection, and earned a scholarship prior to the season starting.
