NC State Swimming & Diving Programs Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

32 men and women honored as individual Scholar All-Americans
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The NC State's men's and women's swimming and diving squads were both named Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2020 semester. The Wolfpack joined 461 colleges and universities that were featured on the list, as announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA).
Both teams reached new heights in the classroom during the spring, each posting the highest semester and cumulative grade point averages in their respective histories. The Wolfpack women recorded a 3.813 GPA, with 15 student-athletes earning perfect 4.0 numbers and 25 named to the Dean's List. On the men's side, the Pack turned in a 3.523 GPA, with 15 Dean's List honorees and six 4.0 GPAs.
In addition to the team recognition, 32 members of the Wolfpack squads were named Individual Scholar All-Americans. The number marks the most for NC State in a single season under the leadership of head coach Braden Holloway.

The Wolfpack has seen one or both of its squads honored as CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams during each of Holloway's nine seasons at the helm of the program. The award is presented to programs across the nation that achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher in the most recent academic semester.
Individuals who were selected as Scholar All-Americans earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher and were invited to compete at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. The honorable mention selections similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 or higher and clocked a "B" time standard or competed at an NCAA Zone Diving qualifier.
