RALEIGH, N.C. - Sophomore forward Tonny Temple had a unique path to becoming a member of the NC State men's soccer team.
Born in Liberia during its Civil War, Temple was adopted by a U.S. family at a young age and moved to Pennsylvania. He then had to overcome a heart scare in high school, before coming to Raleigh to play for the Wolfpack.
