Brady, Bennett Advance to Finals on First Day at NCAA Zone B Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – James Brady and Bayne Bennett advanced to the three-meter board finals at the NCAA Zone B Championships on Monday at the Ramsey Center in Athens, Ga.
Brady started the day with a 350.05 performance in the prelims, good for 11th place. The senior jumped two spots in the finals, finishing ninth and one spot short of an NCAA Championship spot. He finished with a 721.90 total on the day.
Bennett also earned a top-18 finish with a 329.15 prelim performance, and finished the day with a 651.00 mark after the finals.
Madeline Kline opened competition on the one-meter board with a 216.10 performance. The two-time ACC Champion aims to qualify for the NCAA Championships on the three-meter board tomorrow.

The divers are back in action Tuesday as the men's one-meter and women's three-meter board will be contested.
