Pack Claims Pair of ACC Player of the Week Honors

Wilson named Linebacker of the Week, Dunn co-Specialist of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. – After the Pack concluded the regular season with a 23-13 win over Georgia Tech, a pair of NC State players earned conference honors.

Payton Wilson was named the ACC Linebacker of the Week, while PK Christopher Dunn was named the co-specialist of the Week.

Wilson led the Pack with 11 stops against the Yellow Jackets, despite playing a season-low 53 snaps due to not one, but two, dislocated shoulders. Wilson also racked up 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack en route to winning his third player of the week honor in his 10 games played.

Dunn was a perfect 3-of-3 on field goals. He converted on field goals of 40 and 20 yards in the first half. His third and final kick from 39 yards out came with 3:31 left and made the game a two-score contest.

Dunn's final field goal set a new school record as well, as he is now the NC State all-time leader with 56 career field goals.
