Reynolds Coliseum will host the 2021 ACC Championship
RALEIGH, N.C. – Coming off back-to-back ACC Championships and the first undefeated dual season in school history, the NC State Wrestling team has announced its abbreviated schedule for the upcoming season.
The Pack opens its slate with a pair of non-conference duals. NC State kicks off the season at Gardner-Webb on Jan. 3, then will host Appalachian State in Reynolds Coliseum Jan. 8.
In home ACC action, the Pack will host Pitt on Jan. 22 and conclude the regular season with Duke on Feb. 12.
The ACC portion of the schedule starts with a trip to Virginia on Jan. 15.
The Pack will also be in road ACC action in back-to-back weekends, at UNC on Jan. 29 and at Virginia Tech on Feb. 5.
Both the Pitt and UNC duals will be televised on the ACC Network.
For the first time since 2017, Reynolds Coliseum will serve as host for the ACC Championship. This year it will be held on Feb. 28.
The 2021 NCAA Championships are scheduled for March 18-20 at St. Louis, Mo.
After finishing last season with its first-ever undefeated dual record (15-0, 5-0 ACC), the Pack finished the regular season ranked No. 3 in the final NWCA Coaches Poll of the season.
NC State went on to claim its second straight ACC Championship, but the season was cut short before the NCAA Championships.
NC State enters the season with the nation's longest dual winning streak (17).
