McNeill Named to AP All-America Second-Team

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State defensive tackle Alim McNeill has been named an Associated Press All-America second-team selection.
One of the most dominant nose tackles in college football - he tallied 26 tackles for the season. He had a pick six in the win at Virginia - he tipped the ball, caught it and returned it 18 yards for a score. Also caused and recovered a fumble in the season opening win.
McNeill was also named both an ACC and AP first-team conference selection, and was a PFF first-team All-American selection as well.
