As a senior: East Forsyth did not have a fall season. A Sports Illustrated All-American candidate.
As a junior: Missed the season due to injury. Team repeated as NC 4A state champions.
As a sophomore: Caught 25 passes for 516 yards and nine touchdowns. Also compiled 206 rushing yards and two rushing scores. Tallied 717 all-purpose yards. Earned all-conference honors. While playing on defense in 15 games, recorded 61 tackles, 40 solo stops. Helped lead his team to the NC 4A state title and a perfect 15-0 record.
Personal: Member of Black Achievers and an Honor Roll student. Father Germane played wide receiver at Virginia, ranking second in Cavalier history in receptions and fourth in receiving yards. He was drafted in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. In his second NFL season, he tallied 81 catches for 1,338 yards and seven TDs. Micah's brother Germane Jr. also played WR at Virginia.
Rankings: Ranked No. 191 in ESPN's top-300 recruits, also a four-star recruit. Ranked the No. 37 cornerback nationally by ESPN and the No. 11 recruit in North Carolina. As a sophomore: Notched 12 tackles and one interception. Helped lead his team to a 9-3 record and the second round of the VA Group 6A state playoffs.
Personal: Older brother, Levonta Taylor, played cornerback at Florida State where he was a three-year starter and was in training camp with the Los Angeles Rams following the 2020 NFL Draft. Another older brother, Keontae Jenkins, is a freshman CB at TCU.

Played outside linebacker and running back at The Bolles School for coach Matt Toblin.
Career: A three-year varsity starter at linebacker. Recorded 292 tackles, 176 solo stops, 33 TFLs, 10 sacks and seven interceptions. Also had 87 career punts for 2,934 yards and averaged 26.3 yards on 21 career kickoff returns.
As a senior: Tallied 112 tackles and 24 TFLs. Also recorded four sacks and one INT. Rushed 27 times for 170 yards and scored four touchdowns. Totaled 414 all-purpose yards. Helped lead his team to a 10-2 record and Florida Class 4A state championship game, which will be played Dec. 17.
As a junior: Notched 104 tackles and seven TFLs. Also recorded six sacks and four INTs. A Times-Union All-First Coast first-team selection. Helped team to a runner-up finish at the Florida Class 4A state playoffs and an 11-2 record.
As a sophomore: Turned in 73 tackles and a pair of TFLs and interceptions.
Personal: Father, Tom Fordham, was a four-year letterman as an offensive lineman at Florida State and played 10 years with 44 starts in the NFL with the Jaguars, Steelers, and Panthers.

Thornton Gentry

As a senior: Named to the SCFCA 5-A all-state team and was the Region 5-A Lineman of the Year. Also named the Chapin Lineman of the Year and won the Eddie Muldrow Leadership Award. Served as a team captain. Helped lead his team to a 6-2 record.
As a junior: Named to the SCFCA 5-A all-state team and the Region 5-A all-region team.
Personal: Named to the National Honors Society in both 2019 and 2020.

Played as a slot receiver at Hopewell High School for coach Jamelle Byrd.
Career: In his two varsity seasons, finished with 1,576 yards and 15 touchdowns. Totaled 1,875 all-purpose yards and scored three special teams touchdowns.
As a senior: Hopewell did not have a fall season.
As a junior: Pulled down 57 catches for 1,217 yards and nine TDs. Also had 101 kickoff return yards. His receiving yards led the league. An all-conference performer and Hopewell's first-ever Big 22 Player of the Year finalist.
As a sophomore: Totalled 25 catches for 275 yards and one TD. Also had 223 kickoff return yards.
Personal: Was NC State's first commitment of the Class of 2021. Hopewell's first Power Five signee since 2014. Also ran track & field, he was a state finalist in both the 100 and 200 meters. Named to his school's Honor Roll three straight years, and was a Hopewell Football Scholar for outstanding academic achievement.

As a senior: In nine games, completed 107-of-184 passes for 1,505 yards and 21 touchdowns. Also rushed 131 times for 652 yards and six scores. Helped lead his team to a 6-5 record and the second round of the Georgia 7A state playoffs.
As a junior: Completed 134-of-220 passes for 2,018 yards and 17 touchdowns. Posted a QB rating of 103.6. Also rushed 79 times for 284 yards and nine touchdowns. Punted 30 times for an average of 37.1 yards per attempt. Helped lead his team to a 6-4 record and the Georgia 4A state playoffs.

Jordan Poole

Played safety and running back at West Stanly High School for coach Brett Morton. Was a high school teammate of current Pack DL C.J. Clark.
Career: A three-year letterman. Finished with 46 tackles and three interceptions. Rushed 368 times for 3,133 yards and 38 touchdowns, and caught 31 passes for 487 yards and four TDs. Totaled 3,860 all-purpose yards and 44 career TDs.
As a senior: West Stanly did not have a fall season. Was selected to play in the 2020 All-American Bowl.
As a junior: Saw action in eight games. Recorded 36 tackles and one interception on defense. On offense, rushed for 1,534 yard and 22 touchdowns with an average of 13.6 yards per carry and 191.8 yards per game. Earned all-conference honors for the second straight year. Helped lead his team to an 8-3 record and the NC 2A state playoffs.
As a sophomore: Rushed for 869 yards and nine TDs. Earned all-conference honors. Helped lead the team to a 7-5 record and the second round of the NC 2A state playoffs.
Personal: Competed in the 200m, high jump, long jump, triple jump, and shot put on the track & field team.

Career: In two-year varsity career, recorded 202 tackles, 44 TFLs, 21 sacks and 30 QB hurries. Also caused five fumbles and scored a pair of defensive TDs.
As a senior: North Lincoln did not have a fall season. Was selected as a team captain.

As a junior: Recorded 88 tackles, 13.5 TFLs and 7.5 sacks. Also had eight pass deflections and caused a pair of fumbles. Posted six sacks over the final five games of the season. Earned all-conference honors. Team repeated as NC 4A state champions, going 13-2.
As a sophomore: Only played basketball during the school year. Grew four inches and added around 100 pounds between his sophomore and junior years.
Personal: Member of the Black Achievers and a Crosby Scholars member with a 3.7 GPA.

2019 at Fairmont State: Earned first-team All-MEC and Don Hansen Super Region 1 honors for the second-consecutive season. Was also a second-team all-region selection. Started all 10 games at left guard. Fairmont State ranked in the top-20 nationally in both total offense (13th) and scoring offense (20th).
2018 at Fairmont State: Earned honorable mention All-America honors from Don Hansen Gazette, the first offensive lineman from Fairmont State to do so since 1994. Also named All-MEA first-team and All-Super 1 Region second-team honors. Started 11 games at left guard, as Fairmont State ranked 23rd nationally in rushing offense and 14th in scoring offense. Helped lead his team to a 9-2 record.
2017 at Fairmont State: Played in three games as a freshman.
