Rifle Hosts North Georgia

RALEIGH, N.C. – After a stellar outing last weekend, the NC State rifle team opens up at home on Sunday, Oct. 11 against North Georgia.
In its season opener last weekend against Navy, the Wolfpack posted a 4665 score, the second-highest season opening score in program history. The score is also currently the second-best posted across the country as of Oct. 9.
Sophomore Addy Burrow had a standout performance, capturing second overall with a career-high aggregate score of 1177, topping her previous best by eight points. She also won small bore with a personal-best 584 and tied her career-high in air rifle.
It will be the first competition of the season for North Georgia, as the Nighthawks look to build off a 2019-20 season where they finished No. 20 in the final CRCA poll.
Due to health and safety recommendations and current state guidelines, attendance at NC State home events is limited until further notice.

Rifle will take next week off competition, before resuming competition at home on Oct. 24 against GARC opponent, Akron.
