RALEIGH -- The No. 8 NC State women's tennis team is set to kick off the new year Jan. 10-12 at the Orlando Invitational in Orlando, Fla. The field consists of players from Auburn, Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, Rice, Texas Tech, UCF and Virginia.

Four of the teams competing are currently ranked in the Oracle/ITA Division I top 25, and the tournament is set for a hidden dual format.

The Wolfpack earned its highest ranking in program history yesterday, tabbed at No. 8, eclipsing the program's previous highest ranking of No. 9, which was set in April of 2019.
