RALEIGH, N.C. – Head Coach Emily Holsopple announced the NC State Rifle 2019 fall schedule Thursday afternoon.

"We have a very young team with a ton of potential that I believe our schedule is designed to foster," said head coach Emily Holsopple. "They have the opportunity to develop and grow in the first couple matches that are home or close to home before we venture out to face bigger opponents. I am looking forward to watching our team excel when it matters most and build as we work towards spring and post season."
The Pack open its 2019-20 season against the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va. before hosting North Georgia in Reynolds Coliseum on Oct. 20. The home meet will be free to the public and feature a full team competition followed by a final to determine the individual winner.
"Reynolds is a special place for us," said Holsopple. "Matches held here are known for their quality across the rifle community."
NC State faces Navy in Charleston, S.C. before entering GARC action. The Pack open with trips to Memphis and 2018 national runner-ups, West Virginia, before concluding the fall campaign at the Winter Airgun Championships. The Winter Airgun Championships doubles this year as Olympic Team Trials Part 1 for Tokyo 2020.
NC State finished 2018-19 with a 4-6 overall record and welcomed a talented freshman class to campus this fall.
