Murchison Named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State defensive lineman Larrell Murchison has been named the ACC's Defensive Lineman of the Week after his performance in the Pack's ACC opener at Florida State this past weekend.

Against the Seminoles, Murchison led the Wolfpack defense that tallied eight sacks in the contest. Murchison finished with 3.5 sacks, two coming on third down, and that total was the third-highest for a Wolfpack player in school history (only Mario Williams had more in a game when he had four twice.) He finished with six tackles and added a pair of QB hurries.
