Tziarra King Tabbed ACC Offensive Player Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior Tziarra King of the NC State women's soccer team was named Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
The honor comes after a strong week that featured three goals and three assists. She tallied a career-high seven points (two goals, three assists) in the Wolfpack's 5-2 win at East Carolina on Sept. 18, then converted a penalty kick in the squad's 1-1 draw at No. 8 Duke on Sept. 22.
She is currently averaging 1.00 goals per game with eight on the season, which ranks second in the ACC and eighth in the NCAA in both categories. Her 20 points and 2.50 points per game additionally rank second in the conference and top six in the nation.
The Sicklerville, N.J., native continues to climb the record books, as her 43 career goals and 103 career points rank third and fifth, respectively, all-time at NC State.
NC State returns to action Thursday when it travels to No. 4 North Carolina. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the UNC Soccer Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C., and the contest will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
