Ingram Named ACC Defensive Back of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State cornerback Chris Ingram was named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week after his performance in the Wolfpack's 34-23 win over Ball State. The junior recorded nine tackles, all solo stops, an interception and a pair of PBUs. The INT came late in the fourth quarter, and resulted in a touchback for the Wolfpack as it occurred in the end zone.
This season he has played 267 of the 275 defensive snaps. He currently leads the team with a pair of interceptions and is second with 24 tackles.
He is the first Wolfpack player to have a pair of INTs through the first four games of the season since 2012 (David Amerson). He is also second in the ACC, and tied for seventh nationally, with his pair of picks.
