Keberle, Norman Undefeated on First Day at Wahoowa Invite, Mavor Picks Up Ranked Win

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—The Wolfpack women's tennis team collected three singles wins and two doubles wins on the opening day at the Wahoowa Invitational on the University of Virginia's campus. Lexi Keberle and Liz Norman each concluded the day with a perfect record (3-0), while freshman Lana Mavor picked up her first ranked win in her collegiate debut against No. 122 Mia Rabinowitz (Illinois) in straight sets.
Keberle, Norman and Mavor each tallied singles wins on the day, giving NC State newcomers Keberle and Mavor their first singles wins in Wolfpack uniform.
In both matches on Friday, Keberle and Norman defeated their doubles opponents 8-4. Mavor and Marta Gonzalez-Ballbe dropped both doubles matches 8-6.
