NC State's Five Ranked Singles Players Ties for the Most in the ACC
TEMPE, Ariz. – Five Wolfpack players are featured in the opening edition of the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Individual National Singles and Doubles Rankings, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. Anna Rogers and Alana Smith highlight the rankings for NC State as the All-Americans stand atop the doubles rankings at No. 1, marking the highest ranking in program history.
The duo advanced to the program's first NCAA Championships Elite Eight, ending the season with a 35-6 mark and collecting 15 wins over opponents in the final doubles rankings.

Rogers comes in as the highest ranked singles player for the Pack, checking in at No. 8 for the Pack's best preseason ranking all-time. The senior reached a program-high ranking of No. 8 in singles in 2019, boasting a 31-15 overall record.
Tallying 18 ranked singles wins in the 2019 campaign, she went on an impressive 11-match win streak that spanned the entire month of March. The First Team All-ACC selection won six ranked matchups during the stretch.
The All-ACC performer spent four consecutive weeks in the singles top 10 last season.
Smith enters the season ranked 40th. Competing on court two in every dual match she played in, the all-conference performer compiled a 32-13 singles record. The all-conference performer's .711 winning percentage ranks first in the NC State record books.
Smith's highest ranked singles win of the 2019 season came against No. 10 Marta Gonzalez (Georgia). She defeated six opponents that ended the 2019 spring season in the final rankings.
Jaeda Daniel, one the Pack's four new additions to the 2019-20 roster, sits as the 59th-ranked singles player. The junior played on court one at Auburn last season and defeated Katarina Stresnakova (Oklahoma State), a top-25 opponent, and Felicity Maltby (Texas Tech).
Wisconsin transfer Lexi Keberle is tabbed at No. 83. Last season she posted a 25-11 singles record on court two that included top-75 wins against Elysia Bulton (UCLA) and Maty Cancini (Iowa State).
Adriana Reami is also featured in the rankings, checking in at No. 84. The senior collected 10 ACC wins and four wins against nationally ranked opponents to bring her season-long total to 30 wins for the 2018-19 season.
