Football Announces Strength & Conditioning Award Winners

RALEIGH, N.C. – On the eve of 2019 #PackCamp, the NC State football strength and conditioning staff announced its annual award winners for the work in the weight room during the summer.
R-So. QB Matthew McKay was named the Offensive Alpha Wolf while Sr. CB Nick McCloud was named the Defensive Alpha Wolf. This award is given out to the leader on each side of the ball who serves as a team leader.
Gr. DE James Smith-Williams and R-So. Offensive lineman Grant Gibson were both honored as an Iron Wolf. This award is the top offseason award given to the player that dominates the summer program in every aspect.
R-Fr. defensive end Joseph Boletepeli won the Future Wolf Award, which is a new honor presented to an underclassman in the program who works extremely hard and upholds the program's standards prior to playing a contributing role on the field.
