A Message from NC State Athletic Director Boo Corrigan

Wolfpack Nation:
Having grown up in the heart of the Atlantic Coast Conference, I've long had great respect for the passion, pride and tradition of NC State Athletics and the incredible level of support from its alumni and fans. Today it is my honor to take the reins as your Director of Athletics at NC State University.
Since accepting this position in January, we've been preparing for what lies ahead. This University has great momentum beginning with the transformational leadership of Chancellor Woodson, and I've admired the exceptional collection of coaches and the accomplishments of our student-athletes as they continue to advance NC State Athletics.
My family and I are thrilled to begin our next adventure with the Wolfpack community. The Pack currently sits in the Top 15 of the Directors' Cup standings as a program and the Wolfpack faithful continue to provide remarkable support. Thanks to my predecessor Debbie Yow, for advancing the profile of our Athletic Department to where it is today.
At the heart of what we do is creating extraordinary experiences for our student-athletes through Athletics, helping them get a great education, compete at the highest level and develop relationships that will impact them the rest of their lives.
Our efforts will be centered around supporting our student-athletes, coaches and staff and creating an athletic program our alumni and fans can continue to be very proud of.
It's an exciting time to be a part of NC State and we're humbled to begin this journey. It will take all of us working together to help NC State continue to move forward. Time to get to work.
