Pack in the ACC
The Pack boasts an 11-3 record at the conclusion of conference regular season action, the most conference wins in a season for the program. With its 2019 campaign, NC State tied for third place overall in the conference, the best finish in school history.
The team has collected 10 ranked wins this season. Eight of those wins have come against ACC opponents.
Individually, four players have collected 10+ ACC singles wins (Bianca Moldovan, Adriana Reami, Amanda Rebol, Alana Smith).
Pack in the Rankings
The NC State women's tennis team remains ranked ninth in the nation in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I rankings, tying last week's No. 9 ranking for the best in program history.
Anna Rogers checks in at No. 10 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I rankings. The junior has played the entire 2019 season on court one and holds a 19-6 record in dual season. The Stamford, Conn., native has collected 16 ranked singles wins so far this season.
Alana Smith earned the highest ranking in her young career, tabbed at No. 68. Smith went undefeated in singles play last week (2-0), including a victory over Duke's No. 32 Kelly Chen.
Rogers and Smith continue to stay in the top 10 of the doubles rankings. The 10th-ranked duo has earned 11 ranked doubles wins this season and has posted 29 wins (29-5).
Making History
This season has been one of many historic marks for the Pack. The team's 22 wins is a program-best, as is the previously mentioned mark of 11 ACC wins.
Senior Amanda Rebol eclipsed the program record for career wins with a win on court six at Duke for her 88th career win.
At the beginning of the season, the Pack qualified for the ITA National Indoor Championship for the first time in school history with a 4-3 victory at Florida, which was just the Gators' fourth loss at home in 20 years.
NC State also made history by defeating Miami (Fla.) for the first time in school history this season.
Last Time Out
For the first time since 1998, the team defeated Georgia Tech on Sunday, 4-3. The win marks the first time since 1995 that the Pack took down the Yellow Jackets at Georgia Tech. After taking the doubles point, the match was squared away at three, and No. 110 Adriana Reami came up clutch in the third set to clinch the match on the road.
