SEASON REVIEW:
The Wolfpack finished the regular season 17-9 overall and 8-4 in ACC play. The Pack's eight wins in league action marked the most conference wins in a single season in program history. NC State defeated six nationally-ranked opponents during the regular season.
The Wolfpack kicked off a season filled with milestones by defeating 12th-ranked Georgia during ITA Kick-Off Weekend in January. NC State's 4-3 win over the Bulldogs was its best win over a ranked opponent since upsetting seventh-ranked Wake Forest in March of 2016. It was just the second time in eight meetings between the two teams and the first time since the 1977 season that NC State defeated Georgia.
The Pack went on to cap off its season with a historic win over No. 49 Duke, its first over the Blue Devils since April 1, 1980 and only its third-ever victory over the ACC foe.
After putting together its best conference record in program history, NC State earned a double bye in the ACC Championship draw for the first time since 2013.
PACK IN THE POLLS:
NC State was ranked in the national top 25 for the fourth week in a row and the sixth week this season as it was tabbed No. 20 in the latest release of the Oracle/ITA Division I rankings. The No. 20 ranking is the Pack's highest of the season.
Alexis Galarneau found himself ranked in the top 25 of the singles standings for the fifth set of rankings in a row. He checks in at No. 21 after putting together a 15-7 regular-season record on the top singles court for the Pack. Seven of his wins on the season were against ranked opponents.
Galarneau and Michael Ogden continued to rise in the doubles rankings as the duo was tabbed No. 42.
